Our mission statement: a nonprofit dedicated in assisting military families with their pet transportation fees when they move to and from overseas locations.
Currently military families are paying anywhere from 3 to 10 of thousands of dollars to keep their pets with them when executing these military orders.
We want to change this narrative. While we do provide small grants to cover a portion of the transportation cost, we are working with Senator Cory Booker to have a pet transportation stipend included in the Armed Forces Appropriation budget.
In the meantime we are fundraising to continue to issue these grants and to cover the cost of a temperature controlled ground transportation van which will allow us to facilitate low cost ground transportation for these military families.
