Who is CCEF? The Clarke County Education Foundation (CCEF) is an independent public charity dedicated to promoting, expanding and augmenting the educational opportunities for students and staff in the Clarke County Public Schools, by generating private support and involvement to enhance these publicly-maintained services. Founded in 1991, CCEF just celebrated 27 years and giving back OVER $2.5 million to our public schools. Please visit ccefinc.org and like our FB page.

Early Packet Pickup! Avoid the lines on event day! Avoid lines on Sunday, pickup your event bags/shirt/finale powder TBD

Do I need to be a runner? Not at all! There are plenty of other great 5ks out there to test speed and performance. The “Color Me Clarke” event is a community fundraiser for our Clarke County Public Schools. You can run, walk, jump, FLY, hula-hoop, skip, dance, and / or roll if you wish!

Is “Color Me Clarke” Timed? ONLY the first WAVE of RUNNERS (50) will be timed and only top 2 fastest male/female will win awards. We suggest a self-timing device to guarantee a race time if concerned. “Color Me Clarke” is about ENJOYING the trail, the experience, and our community! Take your sweet time BUT get back for Color finale!

Entertainment? Enjoy our DJ before and after the fun run/walk. Gather by DJ platform at the end of run/walk for one GIANT color finale! Bring your EXTRA color packet from your runner bag, wait for our instructions!

Is there an age limit? No age limits! If they can cover (running, jogging, walking, strolling) the three miles of CCPR’s nature trail, they can absolutely participate in “Color Me Clarke”! Remember though, as soon as they are in kindergarten (age 5) they will need to register and have a race bib! Childcare NOT provided, ALL young children must be accompanied by an adult – No drop offs.

What is included with my registration? A 2018 custom “Color Me Clarke” White Tshirt (to guarantee must register by mid May), race bib #, participants race bag, individual bag of color powder for end of race finale, & sponsor goodies.

What should I wear? WHITE clothing dress code is highly suggested – accessorize with tutus, glasses, hats, tights, & crazy socks. SHOW your style! Clarke Spirit awards will be presented – go ALL OUT!

Color Powder Facts: Not harmful; 100% Biodegradable, 100% food/cosmetic grade; Made in the USA!
Will the Color ruin my clothes/Shoes? The color mostly washes out, however, please only wear what you don’t mind getting colorful! Chances are it won’t be exactly the same as you arrived! Bring towels to sit on for the ride home.

Weather? A little rain won’t stop this fun! Rain or Shine! Inclement weather (like lightening) may postpone race time.
