City of Franklin Trick or Trot 5K & Pumpkin Dash

This 3.1 mile course begins and ends on Main Street between 2nd & 3rd Avenue in historic downtown Franklin. The route continues to the Post Office, turning left onto Jackson Street, then right onto High Street. Runners continue past the old railroad tracks and make a right turn into Poplar Springs Cemetery, following the public access road behind the cemetery and back onto High Street. A quick run through a residential area brings runners to Bon Secours - Southampton Medical Center, where the course turns around at the East Pavilion Nursing Home and heads back in reverse order.

The course weaves back through the opposite side of Poplar Springs Cemetery, through High Street to Jackson Street, with a finish from the Post Office back to the Start/Finish Line at Main Street.

This course has mixed terrain with the majority on paved roads and portions on grass and gravel paths through the cemetery. Total elevation is 62 feet.

This 1.5 mile course begins and ends at Main Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenue in historic downtown Franklin. The route continues to the Post Office, turning left onto Jackson Street, then right onto High Street. Runners continue past the old railroad tracks and make a left onto Beamon Street and a left turn into Poplar Springs Cemetery, following the public access road behind the cemetery and back onto High Street.

The course then reverses back through High Street to Jackson Street, with a finish from the Post Office back to the Start/Finish Line at Main Street.

This course has mixed terrain with the majority on paved roads and portions on grass and gravel paths through the cemetery. Total elevation is 36 feet.

Can't make it to the October 17 event in person but would like to participate and receive your race tee-shirt and goody bag by mail? Virtual runners can complete the event on a course, place and time of their own choosing between September 19 - October 17. Submit your results by midnight on October 17 to receive your race materials. The Virtual Race price includes the cost to ship your race tee-shirt and goody bag. Virtual participants cannot use a time from another race and are not eligible for awards.
