BE BOLD Pups & Pints

This event is all about Fido, and having a fun-filled day with fellow dog lovers. This Fido-friendly course is 1.5 miles (may change) and traverses the flat and beautiful Bold Rock farm. It is contained entirely on the property, so it is super safe for any pupper. The obstacles are designed to be fun “challenges” for your best friend, complete with lots of selfie spots along the way. The emphasis is on walking but feel free to let the toe beans zoom. All breeds are welcome from corgo’s to husker’s – and puggo’s to wrinklers – join us for a far-fetched day.

All dogs will get a custom doggo bandana to sport on their next trip to the dog park or the local farmer’s market. Two-legged leash holders will get a t-shirt and a half pint of delicious Bold Rock Hard Cider at the finish. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Nelson County SPCA. Toss in some music, killer food from Bold Rock and Blue Mountain Grill food truck, and some schmackos, otherwise known as dog treats, and you have one special day!

This race will not be timed, but we will have one fun awards ceremony! A sampling of the awards categories are:

• Best look-a-like couple
• Boofer (biggest)
• Yapper (smallest)
• Floofer (fluffiest)
• Bamboozled (best costume)

K-9 Off Leash Training will be on hand with helpful tips and tricks to make your dog even more of a rock star.
