W.O.W. Warrior Walk 2022
Join Women of Winchester for this special W.O.W. Warrior Walk at The Museum of The Shenandoah Valley walking trail on Saturday, October 15th from 9am-11am.
Help us raise funds for The Laurel Center and walk the beautiful trails at The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley to support a great cause. Leashed dogs are welcome on the Trails.
Registration is 9-9:30 a.m., announcements at 9:30 and the walk is from 9:45 - 11,
All proceeds will go to The Laurel Center. The Laurel Center has been providing emergency shelter and support services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence and their dependent children in the City of Winchester and the counties of Frederick and Clarke for close to 40 years. Their philosophy is empowerment through support and education. They provide clients with knowledge, methods, and tools to make healthy choices, cope with the present situation, and to prevent, when possible, violence in the future.
