Newcastle Days Virtual 5K Run/Walk
1. The minimum suggested registration fee is $10, though you can go above and beyond that knowing your donation goes to the Alzheimer’s Association.
2. Registration will remain open until Sept. 5, but participants who register and donate by Aug. 18 will receive a free T-shirt sponsored by Waste Management. Those who register after that date are not guaranteed a T-shirt, but can pick one up, while supplies last.
3. During the first week of September, pick up your T-shirt at a City distribution event. Details will be provided to registrants at a later date.
4. The Newcastle Days Virtual 5K T-shirt is sponsored by Waste Management. Thanks to WM, your race registration donation will all go directly toward supporting the Alzheimer’s Association.
5. Anytime during Sept. 11-13, put on your T-shirt and complete your 5K Run/Walk wherever you are. Visit newcastlewa.gov/NewcastleDays5K for suggested routes. Please remember to maintain 6 feet from others as you participate, and bring a mask if you feel you cannot maintain a safe distance.
6. Get social! Send us pictures and videos of yourself completing your 5K. Use the #NewcastleDays5K on social media or email your pictures to christinac@newcastlewa.gov.
