Dorm Housing

Check-in time is 4pm Thursday, check-out is 9am Friday

The American Birkebeiner offers a limited amount of inexpensive lodging at the Hayward Wesleyan Church on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, February 20-22, 2025. For a suggested donation of $30 per person/per night, you may sleep on the floor in the gymnasium of the church. No beds or bedding are provided - you must bring your own equipment (air mattress, sleeping bags, etc.), no tents. Please note this is a communal setting.

All those utilizing the dorm housing are required to have all personal belongings removed from the church prior to checkout time. For those staying Saturday night, you may leave belongings in the gym at your own risk.

Bus transportation will be provided from the church to the Korte Start on Friday at 8:00 am and to the Birkie Start at 6:15 am. This is a one time only pick-up. Busing back to the Church is available from the Hayward Finish Area Bus Stop. Tell the driver you are staying at the dorm housing. Skiers only on the buses, no spectators.

There are no waxing facilities at the church.

Unfortunately, there are no showers available.

50% of ALL donations go to the youth of the Wesleyan Church!

There is ample parking in the Wesleyan Church parking lot. Please note, there will be regularly scheduled church services on Sunday morning.

We encourage everyone at dorm housing to be vaccinated or have a negative test within 72 hours of arrival. Masking and social distancing are encouraged indoors.
