Red Cedar Irvington--Downsville (5mi)
This is a self-timed Virtual Race. Ski the route any time in February, and submit your time!
This is a beautiful, flat 5 mile route along the shore of the Red Cedar River.
The Course is the groomed section of the Red Cedar State Trail from Irvington to Downsville. Start at the Irvington lot at Hwy D, and head South to finish at the Downsville lot, just past the amazing railroad bridge over the Red Cedar River.
For safety at-speed, be careful and reduce speed on the two road underpasses (one at each end of the trail). Volunteers shovel snow onto the pavement, but sometimes it is thin or icy.

From the main lot, go North/East to the Lower Pines.
First pass -- loop to South Squirrel, North Squirrel, and Hawk Ridge
Second pass -- Star Wars to Buck Ridge to Juba's Run.
Return to the main lot from the South.
