Intentional Fathers Showing Walk
The Intentional Fathers Showing Up event is designed as a community walk, not a race. We are encouraging participants to slow down, walk together, connect with one another, and be fully present with the children and families around them. For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, running on the walk path will not be permitted.
After the walk concludes, participants are encouraged to return to Tembo Trail to continue the experience through additional family-friendly activities, community engagement opportunities, and fellowship with other fathers and families before exploring everything the Milwaukee County Zoo has to offer for the remainder of the day. The first 10 fathers and Supporters that return to Tembo Trail will automatically be entered into a special raffle for a chance to win a free Milwaukee County Zoo membership along with additional event giveaways and goodies.
