Event: April Fools 5 Buck 5k
Please join us 4/1/2017 at 9:01 AM for the April Fools 5 Buck 5K.
Race fee is only $5 (no fooling!) so there's no reason not to run! Come out to have a good time with some friends and help raise some money for the Valders Middle School Cross Country uniforms in the process. Don't forget to enjoy some great bakery along the way to help fuel that run!
Also medals to all finishers will be handed out at the finish line, trophies to each age group. And if more than 5 in any group we foolishly create a new group. Age groups are: 0-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-19, then 10 year age groups, 20-29, etc. As with the theme and low cost, medals and trophies are donated so you might get a medal from any previous run. Win your age to find out what you might get! T-shirt is free with fee, sizes will depend on availability, and whatever you find in our free bins! Walkers can choose to do the 1.5 mile course, untimed. We are having a Bake sale and asking for donations if anyone likes to add to the uniform fund for the middle school CC team. Refreshments after the race. Awards in the HS at the end of the 5k.
