Event: Alum Creek Family Fun Run & Nature Walk

Experience the Forks of Coal State Natural Area's nearly 5 miles of trails through historic and scenic point between Big Coal and Little Coal rivers at Alum Creek, West Virginia.

Why Orange? Oh, don't be seen as a turkey, a bear or a deer. Put on your Blaze Orange and help promote safe practice for walking and running with nature during hunting season. Plus it will look great in the group photo. And, November is Runners' Safety Month.

This is a 2mile/4mile trail fun run and nature walk. Rain/Snow or Shine.

There will be awards for the first to finish female and male runners as well as other prizes and refreshments.

Early Registration Fee - $20 individual
Groups of 5 or more - $15 each
Groups of 10 or more- $10 each
Day-Of Registration Fee - $25
Children under 10 - No charge

This event is produced by Alum Creek Alliance for Community Development in partnership with Bros & Bras and sponsored in-part by a Try This West Virginia mini-grant.

Proceeds benefit Alum Creek Alliance for Community Development, a West Virginia registered 501(c)(3) charitable voluntary association whose mission is to improve community access to health, nutrition, emergency, social and recreational services.
