Meet Leone Sauls and her 8 year old son, Shiloh. 👩🏽‍🦱🧑🏽

They are from #SouthAfrica. 🇿🇦 I’ve gotten to know her over the past few weeks and she is an amazing mama. 🏆 Even in the midst of the despair and stress of being stranded herself, she‘s always looking for ways to help others.

Leone & Shiloh were supposed to be on our free humanitarian flight ✈️ on June 15th. They had confirmed 💺 but her son wasn’t able to leave #Trinidad without a 📜 South African birth certificate, because of coronavirus restrictions—but the government office that processes those requests is closed, because of coronavirus restrictions. 🤦🏻‍♀‍

They were scheduled to move back home when the #COVID19 pandemic 🦠 struck. Now they are #strandedinTrinidad. Our #WarriorAngelsRescue volunteers Nicole Berry and Luisa and Louis DeLuca have been working tirelessly to help them get home. We have a flight path through #Miami 😎 to connect them to their repatriation flight departing from #WashingtonDC 🏛 on the 11th.

A bit more of their story, in her own words...

“My name is Leone Sauls and I'm a South African stranded in Trinidad with my 8 year old son, Shiloh. We were planning on returning home this year in April when the covid 19 lockdowns happened. The finances became difficult for me to obtain as so many of us started to experience financial hardships during this time. Transitioning back home to start a new job as a single mom was already a difficult journey.. and then to be stuck here and to endure more unknowns and also a passport that is about to expire was and is still very difficult but with God all things are possible. I have read and heard so many great testimonies about Warrior Angels Rescue and I pray they receive all the help the need to bring us home. We cannot do this without the help of those who care to donate and help spread the word. Thank you.”
