Description
PB Timing in partnership with Fife Coast & CountrysideTrust are hosting this new trail race from the Pitcairn Centre, Glenrothes as part of Access All Areas - Fife's Festival of the Great Outdoors. Runners will be rewarded with lovely views of the Lomond Hills and surrounding countryside.
Nutcracker Trail Race #2 will be held on Sunday 21st October starting at 11:00am Race entry will be limited to 75 runners.
RACE ROUTE - The race route is held on woodland paths and trails in and around Coul Den Nature Reserve and Formonthills Community Woodland. The running surface is a mix of gravel trails & woodland paths which can get muddy in places during wet weather so trail shoes would be advisable. The race distance is approx. 5 miles. There will be a minimal amount of marshals. You will have to pay attention when following the race routes which will be clearly marked with flour and tape (proper trail running!).
