🏅 Patriot Pride 5K: Building Strength Through Community
On January 24, 2026, our campus will come alive with energy and purpose as we host the Patriot Pride 5K, a dynamic event designed to promote wellness, unity, and support for student-led initiatives. This event is proudly organized by the Wellness Committee, the Class of 2027, and the Class of 2028, and will take place across the Lake Brantley and Forest City campuses.
🎯 Purpose-Driven Participation
The Patriot Pride 5K is more than a race — it’s a movement. Proceeds will directly benefit student clubs and organizations, empowering them to grow and thrive. In addition, we’ll be collecting canned food donations to stock our school’s food pantry, reinforcing our commitment to care for one another.
🏃♀️ Event Features:
- Chip timed 5K Run/Walk with awards for top finishers in designated age groups
- Race shirts and medals for all registered participants
- Community vendors and sponsors are engaging with attendees before, during, and after the race
- Open to all — students, families, staff, and community members
- Virtual race option - can’t join? No problem! You can register for our virtual race and still support our students and school community!
This event is a celebration of Patriot Pride, where wellness meets service, and every step taken supports a stronger, more connected school community.

🏃♀️ Race Event Details
📅 Date: Saturday, January 24, 2026
⏰ 5K Start: 8:00 AM (Arrive early to park, warm up, collect your bib, and use the restroom.)
⏰ Packet Pickup: 7:00 AM
📍 Location: 991 Sand Lake Road, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714; Race starts and ends in the Stadium; park in the lot behind Buildings 6-8 (by the stadium) - this lot will close at 7:45 AM, and overflow parking will be in the Visitor lot in front of Building 1. The road will be closed between 434 and the Forest City Elementary entrance from 7:50 AM through the end of the race.

🏁 What to Expect
This is a chip-timed event for runners and walkers of all skill levels. A clock at the finish line will display your time.
🏆 Awards: Top 3 males and top 3 females receive awards. All finishers get a finisher's medal. Age groups include 13 & Under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
🏅Finisher Medals & Age Group Charms: Awarded to top finishers in each age group. Awards for top Faculty/Staff finishers.
🛍️ Vendors: Booths featuring local businesses and sponsors.
🎉 Patriotic Spirit Shines Bright: We’re thrilled to recognize our Most Patriotic Dressed Participants! Winners will be announced before the race starts! (7:50 AM)
👟 Free Kid Dash – Ages 10 & Under 🏃♂️🏃♀️
Calling all young runners! Join us for the Kid Dash starting at 9:00 AM. This fun, fast-paced race is free for children 10 and under. No registration required—just bring your energy and excitement!
