Awesome 80's Race - Virtual 5k, 10k, Half Marathon - Nationwide Event

During these difficult times we invite you to join our 1980's Run!  - Pick the distance for you, put on your 1980's garb, and get those feet moving.  This race will benefit The American Red Cross

Race Information 

Due to everything going on in the endurance industry we wanted to do something.  Our goal  is to get everyone out  exercising and competing and for a great cause.  Everyone that registers earns a very cool 1980's finisher medal, moistutre wicking neon headband, and a Road ID Racing Bib.  Your results will be posted and compared to those others throughout the country that also ran that distance. 

Whats a Virtual Run?  - You come up with course to match the distance you select.  You can run outside or on a treadmill. We ask if you run outside please remember to keep your distance from other people during these times. After registration you can pick the date you run your race.  You must run between the dates of April 8th - May 10th.  You then report the time you ran.

How do I report my time? Easy! You map out your distance using a phone app or a GPS watch and email the time to Joe@FloridaRaceDay.com  - Times must be submitted by May 10th.  We welcome you to send a screen shot, we ask everyone to make sure they have their distance correct and be honest with you time :)

Just for a recap  : 5k - 3.1 miles, 10k - 6.2 miles, Half Marathon - 13.1 miles.   

We will be sending out award ribbons to the top runners in these age groups in all events.  Overall Male and Overall Female plus fastest male in female in these age categories - 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49. 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and older.

How do I see my results and compare it to other runners? Easier! - Go to www.FloridaRaceDay.com after May 12 th and check it out.  You will also be able to print out a finisher certificate there as well.
