Feel The Burn Virtual 5k

Your year won't be complete without a Bernie's Mittens medal in your collection! Relevant Running is dedicated to bringing you races with fun and timely themes! To that end, we bring you the Feel The Burn Virtual 5k. So, put on your favorite mittens, and feel the burn (or is it Bern?) while running a 5K on your favorite route!

After you register, you can submit your results through the RunSignup page starting February 1 through April 30. Use your favorite app, Garmin, Strava, other device, or manually enter your distance and time. Walk or run, as long as you get it done! In addition, please post about your run in the Facebook group mentioned below and tag it with #FeelTheBurn. We want celebrate what you did on your race day!

All registered runners should join our private Facebook Group for access to positive discussions and posts regarding our virtual races. (Please note, the Facebook group is very active and being used for other current and prior races including the Quarantine Run, 9/11 Remembrance Run, Faster Than Baskin Run, Ronaween, Turkey Trot, and Goodbye 2020 Run). When the virtual race concludes on April 30, we will make donations to The Bishop’s Storehouse in the names of the top three male and top three female finishers. The Bishop’s Storehouse is a faith based commodity resource center that provides food and household supplies directly to families in need. To the extent possible, we will post pictures/and or video in the Facebook group of the checks being presented in the top three male and top three female runners’ names.
