It's that time again! Time to announce the next challenge that will be starting on September 14th and running thru October 31st!
We are excited to announce the JUST KEEP MOVING Challenge!!!
"Just. Keep. Moving." is a slogan we have all told ourselves while out on a run or walk when we get tired or just want to quit. It is also something many of us have told ourselves over the last several months when times have been tough.
That is why, instead of doing a "theme" challenge, we wanted to do a motivational challenge. Our community here grows daily, because of people like you that just keep moving and motivating one another through the good and the bad.
JUST KEEP MOVING Challenge will be a 1.5 month long mileage challenge, mid Sept. to the end of Oct. tracking and totaling miles you rack up on foot(run, jog, walk, hike, etc). The goal is to get as many miles as you possibly can, or really want, or think you want. Really there is no correct amount. We know that everyone has their own goals, and run or run/walk for their own personal reasons. Therefore, we are putting this challenge together to just keep you motivated to accomplish whatever "your" goal is. We will have a leaderboard and live daily standings so everyone knows where they sit among the other participants. Participants will be reaching different mileage levels as the month goes on; earning them bragging rights and one of the following awesome t-shirts. Yes you read that correctly the Mileage Shirts are BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You guys gave us feedback and we want to show you we are listening.

100 Miles Completed
200 Miles Completed
300 Miles Completed
400 Miles Completed
500 Miles Completed
All participants That earn a shirt will also get a Challenge Sticker in your package.

We still need you all to make sure you have a copy of your activity in case we need to verify anything throughout the challenge. But we are not requiring everyone to email in daily. We recommend using Strava as a great app to log your distance and time of activities while you are doing them. This will make entering your data into RunSignUp much easier.
The new Tracking Tool will be through RunSignUp.com and you will enter in your own miles. This simplifies everything. Less mistakes and more real time. If you are wanting to see what each person is running everyday, you will need to click on their "name" and view their monthly journal.
We have a Facebook group called Red Pointer Productions Run/Walk Community. The power of the community is already there and we are not ready to lose that. Please go to the Facebook Group and share pictures from your run, and anything else you are doing to stay fit and motivated. This is the perfect place to encourage all your other fellow runners/walkers. This is a place that we can still be a group through all of this social distancing.
We will be mailing out the T-Shirts and a Challenge Sticker upon completion of the Challenge, so we can get you the correct mileage shirt you have earned!!
