Rock 'n Heartland Youth Triathlon Series #2

The Rock ‘n’ Heartland Youth Triathlon Series (RHYTS) has been created to provide a unique Rock n Roll themed, multi-venue series of youth triathlons within the heart of Florida. RHYTS will succeed in creating a memorable experience for today’s youth through a dynamic and fun triathlon experience.

Race distances are as follows:
5-8 Juniors 50 meter swim/ 2 mile bike/ .5 mile run
9-11 Intermediates 100 meter swim/ 4 mile bike/ 1 mile run
12-16 Seniors 150 meter swim/ 6 mile bike/ 1.5 mile run
Adults 150 meter swim/ 6 mile bike/ 1.5 mile run

Course Description - Closed course on the campus of South Florida State College. This is a pool swim with a closed bike and run course through campus.

Awards will be given out for top five in each male and female age group. Each participant will receive a t-shirt, finishers medal and goodie bag.

South Florida State College is a beautiful,scenic campus with plenty of shade trees and viewing areas. Please bring your chair, refreshments and other personal items. Post race fruit and snacks will be provided for athletes only.

Miscellaneous Info
*Transition area will open at 6am and close at 7:50am race morning.
*First race wave starts promptly at 8am
*Intermediates will start once all Juniors have completed the race, Seniors/Adults will start once all Intermediates complete the race.
*Awards will take place immediately following completion of the Senior/Adult race.
*Only athletes will be allowed in transition area before, during and after the race.
