Association of Reef Keepers™ Virtual Race

ARK of the British Virgin Islands invites you to SHELL-abrate World Sea Turtle Day with us by Racing for the Reef!  Challenge yourself and others in a run, walk, or swim this summer in your very own neighborhood or anywhere in the world to show your support for ARK BVI.  Do good for more than your body, help ARK continue to fund our important programs!  During the COVID-19 pandemic, the British Virgin Islands closed our borders for safety and in doing so, financial support that is typically received through tourist interactions and local fundraising efforts has been stalled.  Joining us in a "Race for the Reef" today!  Our Sea Turtles thank you!

Each participant receives an event tank and medal from ARK!  

How it works:

1. Sign up for your Virtual Race between June 16th-July 3rd - pick a challenge that pushes you just slightly outside of your comfort zone!  
2. Train to complete your goal!
3. Complete your challenge distance by August 31st
4. Share your accomplishment in our Facebook Event page!!  Show your stats, a photo of your challenge, or your celebratory smile with your medal!  
5. Rock your ARK "Race for the Reef" Swag!

Your Support Registration package ships the week of July 6th.  Also, ADD a special SEA TURTLE TEAM sun shirt with your registration!

Five Programmes, One Purpose

The Association of Reef Keepers (ARK) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation dedicated to ensuring the preservation and sustainability of the BVI marine environment for the benefit of all future generations. ARK is committed to provide assistance in collecting information used to determine short and long-term changes of the marine environment which will ultimately aid government departments in determining effective marine resource management strategies. ARK is also committed to promote local outreach programmes aimed at educating and empowering the local community.
