Bridging the Distance 5k

Saturday, March 14th, 7:30am (note time change). T-Rex Center, Boca Raton. Welcome to the first Bridging the Distance 5K to benefit Boca Helping Hands. The event is championed by Boca Raton Innovation Campus (BRiC) and MobileHelp.

Bridging the Distance is a certified 5K run for a variety of runners ranging from amateurs to professionals. Yes, we are serious about the run but most importantly want you to have fun. The race will start and finish on the Boca Raton Innovation Campus, taking advantage of the beautiful Spanish River Library property.
All registered runners will receive a AccuChip to record their net times (actual). Awards are presented three deep in five age groups.. T-shirts and Participation Medals will be given to the first 300 runners. Participants are treated to complimentary refreshments from Einstein Bagels, Adam & Joe catering and many more vendors.  

There will be a Raffle for people that sign up before March 1st.  Two complimentary nights lodging in Orlando at a Bluegreen Resort Villa.

Boca Helping Hands provides food, medical and financial assistance to meet basic human needs as well as education, job training and guidance to create self-sufficiency. By 2020 Boca Helping Hands will be the essential community resource helping people cross the bridge from basic need to independence.
