Description
The Peter Blum Family YMCA, Run for Funds Florida, Go Athletics Florida and Doghouse Multisport are excited to bring the first ever Women's Only Triathlon to the South Florida area. This triathlon is for girls and women ages 11 and over. The triathlon is for beginners and seasoned triathletes alike. The event will be held at the Peter Blum Family YMCA in Boca Raton. The race is a perfect beginner triathlon, it is very a beginner friendly distance, but we welcome ALL triathletes. If you have done some others, but fancy a pool swim, come join! The race will start in the pool, where participants will have a time trial start (individual start with 15 seconds apart), they will swim 150 yards, then head into transition where the ladies will cycle 4 miles, then run 1 mile. We have police at many important intersections and volunteers on the course keeping you safe. We look forward to an amazing event!
