Description
2025 Entry will open in late summer 2024.
Event Information:
This is a family and pet friendly walk/run. We are happy to be able to partner with the Florida Museum's Randell Research Center. As a special treat, this year's course will include approximately one mile of their Calusa Heritage Trail. The trail is hard packed gravel but may include some bumps and a little mud depending on the weather. As part of the event, you will also be climbing steps to the top of the Randell mound and going down the other side. This is one of the prettiest views on the island!! The remainder of the event will be along quiet neighborhood streets.
We are also providing participant medals! More to come on those!
Race tech shirts are guaranteed to participants that register by January 1, 2025. Post-race refreshments will be available. Post race awards will begin at approx. 9:15 am.
Event proceeds will benefit the Kiwanis Club of Greater Pine Island and the children's programs at the Calusa Heritage Trail.
