BE THE BEE 5K
Our Mission Statement:
Rooted in the teaching of St. Paisios to "be like the bee", our mission is to inspire people to choose hope over discouragement, compassion over criticism, and service over self-interest. Through our 5K, we unite runners and walkers around the world in supporting charitable organizations and living out their faith through acts of generosity and love.
Be the Bee 5K is a virtual run/walk inspired by the teachings of St. Paisios of Mount Athos and his reminder to be like the bee—to seek the good rather than focus on the negative.
Complete your 5K wherever you are, at your own pace, while helping support a charitable cause.
Run. Walk. Treadmill. Outside. Wherever you choose.
For our first Be the Bee 5K event, 100% of profits, will be donated to IOCC (International Orthodox Christian Charities). Check out our DONATION page for more information!

Nope. After you have registered, you can complete it whenever you want! The next day, in three days, three years...
A medal is provided for every registered runner/walker. Medals will be shipped within a waak or two of registration.
Yes! This will save on registration fees.
Nope...if you want to kayak, skip, jump, climb....go for it!
