Take Stock in Children 10k/5k and Fun Run

Take Stock in Children of Manatee County will hold the 8th Annual Take Stock 10k/5k/Fun Run, Sunday, March 5, 2017. Runners will start and finish on Main Street in Lakewood Ranch. The 10k will begin at 7:30 am and the 5k is scheduled to begin at 7:35 a.m. PUP Start is at 7:40 am (those with canine companions that are not therapy dogs). The Kids Fun Run starts at 8:30 a.m.  Post Race party with food, entertainment, raffles, age group awards and kids activities immediately following the race. 

Ticket prices start at $35 and increase starting February 28th Unable to attend?  Register as a Virtual Participant and help a Manatee County Student earn a scholarship.  

All proceeds from this event benefit Take Stock in Children of Manatee County. 

Take Stock in Children is a non-profit organization that helps deserving children achieve academic and personal success by providing mentoring programs and college scholarships.  The Florida Pre-Paid College Foundation matches the money we raise dollar-for-dollar, thus creating opportunity for young people who have shown their desire and commitment to attend college by maintaining a 2.5 or higher grade point average and remaining drug and crime-free.
