Hooters Clearwater Beach 2016 5K Walk/Run With Optional Ocean Mile Swim And Michelob Ultra Post Race Parties At Hooters

Join us up to 5 TIMES at Hooters Clearwater Beach in 2016 as we kick off one of our most popular series of races on our event calendar at www.727CanRace.com!  These races attract participants both locally and from around the world as several book their travel JUST to come to Clearwater Beach to run with us. Each date offers a 9 a.m. Ocean mile swim set chest deep parallel to the coast where swimmers can choose the full mile swim or exit at the quarter or half mile mark and run or walk on the beach back to the finish line. This is a very popular option for those who need open water swim experience within a group of people and those who are training for larger triathlons or races with open water swimming.

At 10 a.m. we shift gears to our 5K run/walk.  It takes place just north of Pier 60 and the run in an out and back north on the nice packed sand. NO COMPLAINING the harded part of this run is getting from check in to the start/finish line. The rest is all on beautiful packed sand but we do suggest NO barefoot runners. Strollers are welcome but not encourage.
