Beckett's Legacy Virtual 5K Run

For those not able to join us in Clermont, FL for our First Annual Beckett's Legacy 5K, we are proud to provide the option to participate virtually as a fundraiser for The Finley Project.

The Finley Project is a non-profit organization that helps grieving mothers following the death of an infant. Anywhere from 20 weeks gestation to 2 years of age. As a part of their 7-step program, they aid mothers in funeral planning for their child, provide gift cards for meals, house cleaning, massage therapy, 12 weeks of licensed mental health counseling, and more.

What does it mean to run virtually?
A virtual race is a race that can be completed where and whenever you’d like. You can time the race on your own through an app, watch, or other timing device. You can submit your results and receive your certificate and race swag to celebrate what you’ve accomplished!

Can I run the race in installments?
In order to submit your results, please complete the race distance in one run/walk.

Where can I run?
You can run anywhere (that is safe, of course!). Pick your favorite trail, route, or treadmill. You’ll have the option to tell us how you run when you submit your virtual results.

How should I record my run?
You are able to submit your results via link or a photo or by syncing your wearable device to your participant account.

If you do not have a wearable device, there are many types of apps that will record your distance and time. If you are using a treadmill, a photo of the display will be accepted. You can enter a link to a public page from an app, take a screenshot from your phone, or take a photo of your watch or your treadmill. Please be sure to record both your distance and time.

Proof of finish time is encouraged but not required.
