Rib Run 5K to benefit Pig on the Pond

Pig on the Pond “For the Kids” is excited to host Rib Run for Education - 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, March 12, 2016 8AM at the Waterfront Park, Clermont.

Proceeds benefit the Pig on the Pond Educational Fund 501(c)3, providing four years of college scholarship and support of a mentor to deserving south Lake high-school students. Recipients receive a $10,000 award for up to four years of college.

We welcome all ages and abilities! Enjoy a scenic course through Downtown Clermont and along Lake Minneola while benefiting a worthy cause.  A designated “Runner Friendly” Community by the Road Runners Club of America.

School teams encouraged! Awards for Elementary, Middle and High-School teams with the most participants and participation recognition for all teams ! Please contact Projectscholarsendurance@gmail.com for more information.

Strollers are welcome and we ask that you allow our competitive runners their space at the start.

Chip Timing Provided – Distance 5K (3.1 Miles) timing provided by Sommer Sports

Must be registered by February 1, 2016 to be guaranteed a T-Shirt and Participation Medal

Race Day Registration & Packet pick-up beginning at 6:30am at the Clermont Waterfront Park 5K Run/Walk begins at 8:00 A.M.

Awards at 9:15 AM – Clermont Waterfront Park Pavilion

Male and Female Over-All & 1st place in all age categories
