Bob Ross Happy Little 5K

The Daytona Tortugas are hosting a Happy Little Fun Run as a kick off to Bob Ross Night at The Jack!  The 5K will take place at The Jack and run through the Sweetheart Trail along the Halifax River.  There will be fun photo opportunities along the route themed to Bob Ross and The Joy of Painting.  This run will have it's own take on the color runs you are familiar with.  Each runner will receive one color packet and there will be a couple color bomb stations along the route.  There will also be post run refreshments.

Registration will begin at 8:00 AM and the race will begin at 9:00 AM.  Awards will be presented at 10:30 AM. The first Man, Woman and Child (boy and girl) will receive a prize.  We will also be rewarding the best costume. 

We encourage runners to dress in their best Bob Ross impersonation or anything colorful and creative that comes to mind.  Runners will also receive a ticket to the Daytona Tortugas game that evening.  The Daytona Tortugas will be taking on the Clearwater Threshers in a 7:05 PM contest, and the first 1,000  fans through the gates will receive a one of a kind Bob Ross bobblehead.

Early race packet pick-up will be available July 13th and 14th from 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM at the Daytona Tortugas front office.  Our front office is located at 110 E. Orange Ave., Daytona Beach, FL 32114.
