Pi Day at One Daytona

UPDATE as of 5/13/2020: ALL participants were sent an email with race registration options. This race has been cancelled. We will hold our celebration when it is appropriate to do so. It will be a fun event, and we can't wait to welcome everyone back out to run/walk with us at One Daytona.

Health, safety and participant experience are our top priorities. At this time, we are postponing all Pi Day activities that were to be held at One Daytona on Saturday, March 14, 2020. These activities are not canceled. We have a big Pi Day party planned, and it will be moved to a future date. We want all participants to enjoy the celebration. We will notify all participants and reopen registration as soon as new date is decided. If you have any questions, please reply to this email or contact The Running Elements at Katrina@TheRunningElements.com . World Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant π!! 

On 3.14 (March 14th) is Pi Day. One Daytona will be honoring this day with all things Pi from 5-8pm on 3/14/2020.

5pm -- Pizza Pie Crust TOSSING CONTEST: Show off your pizza dough tossing, flipping and twirling skills. This is a fun activity for all ages. There will be points awarded for accuracy, flair, and landing. Prizes will be given out to some of the best Pizza Pie Tossers! There is a $5 pre-registration fee for this event. Day of Registration at event will only be available if spots are left.

6pm -- Pi Day 5K: Run or Walk this unique 5K around One Daytona, Shoppes at One Daytona, and Daytona International Speedway paths. $15 Registration includes a Race Shirt, Custom Pi Day Bib, Professional Photography, and a SLICE OF PIE at the finish. *This route does NOT go inside the speedway or on the track. 

7:30pm -- Pie EATING CONTEST: Are you ready to see how fast you can eat a pie? This event will challenge your pie eating skills. Points will be awarded for speed and accuracy. Prizes will be given out to some of the fastest Pie Eaters!! Registration Fee is $10. *Pie flavor and size will be posted prior to registration opening.

There will also be FREE activities around One Daytona for all to enjoy. Interactive DJ in Victory Circle will keep the crowd moving, playing, and dancing!!
