About this event:

The biggest gift we can give our children and future generations is to enable them to live in a world that knows only one race – the human race, is color blind regarding the color of individuals, believes in equality for all genders, makes no distinctions based on nationality, passes no judgments based on religious beliefs, does not judge a person based on their age, accepts individuals regardless of their sexual orientation and believes that individuals with disabilities should not be defined by their disabilities. Join the Discrimination Free Zone as we run/walk to end discrimination and bullying along A1A in Delray Beach as we raise awarness and funds!

Course, Timing and Scoring:
The course is USATF certifed.  The 5K Run will be timed by AccuChip Timing, USA.  All participants will be issued a tag and bib number.  Failure to wear a tag during the event will disqualify the participant from being scored in the results.  There is a 90 minute time limit to complete the race.

Registration

Online registration closes Friday, August 12th at noon. You may register in person on race day begining at 6:30 AM in Anchor Park.  Please note that race fees increase on race day.

Packet pick-up

August 7, 2016 - August 13, 2016 (closes at noon) at Runner's Edge, 3195 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL 33431.  Hours:  M-W and F (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM); TH (10:00 AM - 7:00 PM); ST (8 AM-5 PM) and SUN (11:00 AM - 4PM)
Race day packet pick-up will be held at Anchor Park begining 6:30 AM.
NO REFUNDS.

T-Shirts

T-Shirts will be given to the first 300 registrants only.

Awards:

Awards to first place overall open, masters and five year age division three-deep.
Finishers medals will be given to all participants completing the race within the time limit.

Team awards will be given to the fastest team, most spirited team and team with the largest number of members.

Parking:
Parking at Anchor Park is limited and available to sponsors and VIP guests only.  Parking for the race is available in the following lots. 

Gleason Street Lot:  Located on the west side of Gleason Street, south side of Atlantic Avenue across from First Presbyterian Church.
Sandoway Lot:  Located at the Sandoway House Nature Center, 142 South Ocean Blvd. (A1A).
Ingraham Lot:  Located at Ingraham Avenue and South Ocean Blvd. (A1A).
Atlantic Dunes Lot: Located on South Ocean Blvd. (A1A), just north of Linton Blvd.

The Delray Downtowner will be providing free shuttle service from the above lots to Anchor Park from 6:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Please call the Delray Downtowner at (561) 702-8519 for more information.
