Description
The Kiwanis Adventure Run will be virtual and live.
For the VIRTUAL 8K (5 mile) and 5K runs, the beginning date of your run is Monday, January 6, 2025 through Sunday, January 12, 2025 at 8:30 a.m. You will be able to submit your results when you complete your run. Go to your profile on the run sign up site.
The Kiwanis Adventure Run LIVE is an 8K (5 mile) or 5K course in the award-winning Honeymoon Island in Dunedin, FL. on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at 8:30 a.m.
The clearly marked course is beautiful and challenging with grass, sand, mud, and beach trails.

Run information and registration guidelines
We will have overall men and women awards for the 8K LIVE race and the 5K LIVE race.
Certificates to print can be found through "my profile" page on the Run Sign Up site.
The LIVE run is limited to the first 500 registrations. Registration will be closed on January 12, 2025 at 8:30 am race day.
Complimentary post-race breakfast and refreshments.
All registrations will be done online. No in person or paper registrations.
VIRTUAL race results: Manually submit your time on your profile. You can also get a digital bib number. Login to your run sign up account and go to your profile. Select Adventure Run and click Digital Bib (you can also print it). https://runsignup.com/Race/FindARunner/?raceId=81323

Parking Map and Directions
This information is for the LIVE event on Sunday, January 12, 2025.
Honeymoon Island State Park in Dunedin. West on Curlew Road (SR 586) turns into Causeway Blvd at Alternate Hwy 19. Continue on Causeway Blvd. to Honeymoon Island.
The park opens at 6:00 am. Race participants arriving before 8:00 am receive free parking and admission to the park.
Parking is in the north parking lot. Take the trail to the Playground for check-in. This is a 10-minute walk.
The races start and end in the Playground area.

The park opens at 6:00 am. Race participants arriving before 8:00 am receive free parking and admission to the park.
The challenging and spectacular 8K (5 mile) run through the woods and on beautiful Honeymoon Island North Beach
The challenging 5K woodland course event winds through the scenic Honeymoon Island woodlands.
Both Runs are clearly marked.
All turns are marked with and have course monitors. There will be 5 water stations.
The 8K and 5K race starts and ends in the park's playground area. Both runs are on the woodland trails of north Honeymoon Island. The woodland trails are a combination of vehicle, trails, grass covered areas, dirt trails, sandy trails, muddy areas and the beach. Conditions will change depending on the weather.
Expect January morning temperature in the low to mid 40's and windy. The Trail portion is partially protected from wind. The Beach portion is exposed to the wind, blowing surf, and blowing sand. Dress accordingly.
Actual temperature will vary.
Post - Race breakfast will be provided after the runs. Beverages (including coffee) will be available all morning at the pavilion.
Giveaways - tee shirts or medals
All LIVE registered runners will receive EITHER a finish medal OR a long sleeve tee shirt to commemorate the race.
The front of the shirt is printed with this year's race logo. The back features the names and logos of those individuals, businesses, and organizations that generously donated to this year's event.
The overall male and female winners for the 8K (5 mile) LIVE race and the 5K LIVE race will be presented.

Packet Pickup
Pre-race packet pick up for the LIVE events:

Time: LIVE runs Pre-race package pick up is Saturday, January 11, 2025, between 10 am and 3 pm.
Race Day package pick up at the check-in pavilion in the park playground.
Post race packet pick up for VIRTUAL runners will be available after Wednesday, January 15th by appointment. Please call Dunedin CPA (727) 535-2257
