Description
The Kiwanis Adventure Run will be virtual and live.
We will be changing the location to Weaver Park. Our traditional Honeymoon Island location has not recovered from Hurricane Milton and will not be available for our runs until 2026.
For the VIRTUAL 8K (5 mile) and 5K runs. You can run anytime the week of February 10th. Submit your results when you complete your run. Go to your profile on the run sign up site.
The Kiwanis Adventure Run LIVE is an 8K (5 mile) or 5K course on the Pinellas Trail in Dunedin, FL. on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 8:30 a.m.

Run information and registration guidelines
We will have overall men and women awards for the 8K (5 Mile) LIVE race and the 5K LIVE race.
Certificates to print can be found through "my profile" page on the Run Sign Up site.
The LIVE run is limited to the first 500 registrations. Registration will be closed on February 16, 2025 at 8:30 am race day.
Complimentary post-race breakfast and refreshments.
All registrations will be done online. No in person or paper registrations.
VIRTUAL race results: Manually submit your time on your profile. You can also get a digital bib number. Login to your run sign up account and go to your profile. Select Adventure Run and click Digital Bib (you can also print it). https://runsignup.com/Race/FindARunner/?raceId=81323

Parking Map and Directions
This information is for the LIVE event on Sunday, February 16, 2025.
Registration check-in, Start, Finish, and Breakfast at City of Dunedin Weaver Park, 1141 Broadway, Dunedin, FL 34698. Parking is at Weaver Park on the East and West Side of Broadway (Alt US 19). Remote Parking is at the Monroe Street City parking garage, about 1/2 mile south.
The races start and end in Weaver Park.

Instructions for the LIVE run.
No refunds.
Race Day check-in starts about 7:00 am and continues until the start of the race. There is a simultaneous start for both runs ( 5 Mile and 5K). Both runs go north on the Pinellas Trail to the walkway to Hammock Park then utilizing the boardwalk to the field. Both runs use Sugarberry Trail West and then East to Skinner Trail. The 5K run uses Skinner Trail to Cedar Trail to the Osprey Trail to return to Weaver Park. The 5 Mile run follows the trails in Hammock Park to Highland Trail, then Grant Trail to Skinner Trail. Several short trails are used leading to Cedar Trail and Osprey Trail then back along Sugarberry Trail before returning to Weaver Park.
Both Runs are clearly marked.
All turns are marked with and have course monitors. There will be water stations in Hammock Park.
Post - Race breakfast will be provided after the runs. Beverages (including coffee) will be available all morning at the pavilion.
Giveaways - tee shirts or medals
All LIVE registered runners will receive EITHER a finish medal OR a long sleeve tee shirt to commemorate the race.
The front of the shirt is printed with this year's race logo. The back features the names and logos of those individuals, businesses, and organizations that generously donated to this year's event.
The overall male and female winners for the 8K (5 mile) LIVE race and the 5K LIVE race will be presented.

Packet Pickup
Pre-race packet pick up for the LIVE events and virtual runner packet pick up:

Time: LIVE runs Pre-race package pick up is Saturday, February 15, 2025, between 10 am and 3 pm.
Race Day package pick up at the check-in pavilion in the park playground.
Post race packet pick up for VIRTUAL runners will be available after Wednesday, February 19th by appointment. Please call Dunedin CPA (727) 535-2257 for information.
