Description
The Cross the Line Foundation, in conjunction with Amelia Island Runners, will host the Cross the Line Foundation Veterans Day 5K on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 08:00 a.m. in Fernandina Beach, FL.
The out and back course will begin and end in the marina parking lot at the foot of Centre Street (near the Remember Our Fallen Memorial) in Fernandina Beach, FL. This will be a timed event.
Registrants will receive a race t-shirt. You must register by November 6, 2023 in order to receive a t-shirt.
Event Schedule:
- Packet pickup will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 12:00 noon until 07:00 p.m. at PJD's Beer and Wine Garden, 12 S. 2nd Street, Fernandina Beach, FL.
- There will also be packet pickup on race day beginning at 07:00 a.m. at the marina parking lot. Packet pickup will end at 07:45 a.m. and the run will begin at 08:00 a.m.
- Awards Ceremony will be conducted at 09:15 a.m.
Awards will be presented to:
Top three men and top three women overall
Race Timing:
The race will be timed a chip-timed event
Registration Cost:
- Online registration: $35.00 Online registration will be open through November 9, 2023
- Registration will be available in person during packet pick-up on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning: $45.00 cash only
Proceeds will go to Cross the Line Foundation, a not for profit organization that supports Veterans by raising awareness of Veteran related issues and partnering with other Veteran organizations to assist with "now" Veteran needs.
