Description

Myeloma Crowd is hosting this year's Muscles for Myeloma 5K Beach Walk as part of Pat's Myeloma Survival School. This is the third year of the walk, started by myeloma patient advocate Pat Killingsworth and his wife Pattie. Join us for a great morning walk on the beach before you get your day started! All proceeds support research funding for the rare blood cancer, multiple myeloma.

What: 5K Beach Walk

When: March 4, 2017, 8:00 a.m.

Where:  Main Beach Park, 32 N Fletcher Ave, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034 (904) 310-3350

Parking: Use the Main Beach Parking lot at the same location.

Shirts and Shirt Pickup: Shirts are guaranteed for registrations made before February 18, 2017. After this date, we will have some extra shirts availble, but cannot guarantee correct sizes or quantities. Pick up your shirt at the Women's Center at 201 Jean Lafitte Blvd, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034 on Friday from Noon - 6 pm. 

Pets: Please no pets. 

About Muscles for Myeloma

We're building Muscles for Myeloma to help myeloma patients get move and to help raise funds for myeloma research. Fitness matters to everyone, but it is especially important for myeloma patients. The more fit patients are, the more they are able to tolerate therapies which leads to better, longer lasting outcomes.
