Join us Thanksgiving morning for Gainesville’s 10th annual Turkey Trot 10k & 5k . Get in a good run early so you can enjoy a guilt-free feast later! Support the residents of Tacachale while enjoying an off-road run around their beautiful campus. Please honor the strict 15 mph speed limit while driving on campus
This is a friendly, off-road course through the beautiful turkey-filled forest surrounding Tacachale as well as the running trail encircling the entire perimeter of the campus. The property offers not only beautiful running trails, but a very safe and traffic free venue. Though mostly trails, runners can choose between asphalt and grass in several areas.
For the safety and well being of the residents, dogs are NOT allowed on Tacachale Campus
A portion of each registration will go directly to Tacachale and The Agency for Persons with Disabilities. Your contribution and participation in this race allows the residents to enjoy a spectacular holiday season and Christmas party.

2020 Race Series
2020 RACE SERIES!
For this years race season we are linking our 3 events together to form a Race Series with some great Prizes!
Participants who complete all 3 races within the season will qualify for the Series prizes, as well as a commemorative gift. Only the 10k option for the Turkey Trot will be included in the Race Series.
Those participants who qualify will have their times Age Graded, and then added together to form a cumulative total time that will be used to determine the winners. We will ave Series prizes for the top 3 Male and top 3 Female based on their Age Graded times. Prizes are TBD.
IMPORTANT!! - Registrants who wish to participate in the series MUST sign up for each race during the open registration period. Race Day registrants for any of the events, will not be included in the Series results.
The award ceremony for the Race Series will be held immediately after the awards presentation at the Trail of Payne 5k.
