Description

Dress up as your favorite Dr. Suess character and join us as we follow the Cat in the Hat on a 3 mile course in and around the historic Pleasant Street Neighborhood. The first wave of runners will begin at 10am, the last wave of runners will be at 10:45am. Registration opens at the Union Academy/Rosa B Williams Recreation Center at 9am. Proceeds go towards Yopp! inc., to provide youth scholarships and programming in the arts and education. If you do not wish to pay the processing fee or simply want 100% of your donation to go to Yopp! inc., you may register for the event at the Rosa B. Williams Recreation Center or at Gainesville Running and Walking Store (Archer Road). 

From 10am-4pm we will also be hosting our annual Where the Sidewalk Ends Arts Festival which will include local vendor participation, entertainment, games, and a kidzone with an obstacle course, facepaint, and more (wristbands for all day play will be for sale). So stay after the race for the fun festivities and to learn more about our center and community!

Registration is $30 for individuals and $25 per person for groups of 5+; Kids 12 and under free. 

Included in registration: Tshirt, bib number, 1 raffle ticket, 1 food and drink ticket, 1 wrist band for the kidzone, assorted sponsor gifts

$5 for additional wristbands to kidzone (includes all day obstacle course, facepaint, etc.)
$1- each additional raffle ticket
$1- additional pizza and water
