Description
Did You Know?
The Salvation Army had served the most underprivileged in Gainesville and Alachua County since 1921. That's 100 years and we'll like to serve another 100! But we need your help...
How could you help?
This spring to support our programs, we'll be celebrating our 2nd Annual Operation Stomp Out: A Virtual Race for Real Results event that will run from April 1, 2021, through May 31, 2021.
What is a Virtual Race?
It’s a challenge that can be completed by running, biking, or walking from any location, even at home! Each participant would complete the challenge by the deadline, and time themselves.
If I complete the race, do I receive a medal?
Yes. After completing the 5K, just send us an email with your name, your time and, your mailing address, and a medal will be shipped directly to you. Please keep in mind, all registered participants should complete the challenge by the deadline!
What are the differences between the registration options?
- Option A: This option includes race registration, the official event t-shirt, and processing fees (no extra cost or hidden fees will be added)
- Option B: This option includes race registration and processing fees (no extra cost or hidden fees will be added)
- Option C: This option is for memorabilia only NOT for race registration purposes. We will be mail to you our inaugural 2020 t-shirt (no extra cost or hidden fees will be added)
Please keep in mind, all registered participants (option A & B) that complete the challenge by the deadline will receive the medal!
So again... could you please join us to raise awareness and funds that will allow us to meet the needs of our community? Let's...
- Stomp Out Illiteracy,
- Stomp Out Hunger,
- Stomp Out Housing Insecurity,
- Stomp Out Generational Poverty.
