At The Salvation Army, we’ve had served the most underprivileged in Gainesville and Alachua County for almost 100 years. This spring, we’re aiming to raise funds to support our programs. Furthermore, we will be launching our first Operation Stomp Out: A Virtual Race for Real Results fundraising event that will run from April 4, 2020, through May 31, 2020.
What is a Virtual Race? It’s a race that can be run (or walked) from any location chosen (even at home). Each participant run (or walk) at their own pace, and time themselves.
How's does it work? After each runner register, they will receive with their registration the official t-shirt event. Each runner who completes the 5K race should send us their time and, a medal will be shipped directly to them.
Please join The Salvation Army to raise awareness and funds that will allow us to meet the needs of our community.
