TriGators Triathlon

Come join us for a spectacular swim in the Florida Pool, a bike though UF’s scenic campus, and a run around the heart of our beautiful campus center including The Swamp. Celebrate three sports in a single sunshine-state morning. Gather up your energy and best friends for an event that will bring out the TriGator in you!!!

This race is perfect for just about anyone! Maybe you want to see what a triathlon is like? Maybe you’re training for your next race? Maybe you want to come in first? Maybe you just want to finish something more than a color run? This event is FOR YOU!

TriGators Super Sprint Triathlon Distance: A short 250 yard swim (that’s two and a half laps in the pool), a 3.4 mile bike ride, and a quick 1.1 mile run!
TriGators Sprint Triathlon Distance: 400 yard swim (4 laps in the Florida Pool), 10.2 mile bike ride, and a 3.1 mile run through the heart of the University of Florida campus! 

Throughout the years many of the Gainesville and University of Florida community have come out to support the UF TriGators. Your participation in this race provides us with the funding necessary for the University of Florida TriGators Triathlon Club to compete. With your help we’ve consistently been one of the top collegiate triathlon teams in Florida.  Can You Escape The Swamp?

TriGators Alumni are welcome to come to the 2024 TriGators Triathlon and experience this race on their old stomping grounds!  Please contact us at trigatorstri@gmail.com for a special discount code to the race if you were a TriGator during your time at UF. Please note that the discount code is for former members of the TriGators Triathlon Club, and we request proof of your former involvement with the club. We will have an alumni meetup zone and foods for the event.  Come race in the Swamp and support your favorite FCTC Team at the same time!

No Refunds and No Transfers. NO EXCEPTIONS!  If air temperature at start of race is below "feels like" 45 degrees University of Florida will not allow us to host a swim and a run will take place of the swim.  Each entry fee to the 2024 TriGators Triathlon will be considered a donation to the University of Florida TriGators Triathlon Race.  TriGators reasonably relies on all entry fees in order to promote and function as a team to compete across the United States.  If for some reason the 2024 TriGators Triathlon is not able to occur each athlete will receive a refund for their entry fee or deferral to the next TriGators race.

Each participant registered before March 1st will receive an event race shirt.  All finishers will receive a unique TriGators Triathlon finisher medal.  Age Group awards will follow the 5 year age limit from 9 and under up to 75+.
