*PLEASE disregard "place", this event will be taking place virtually this year, that is not the location of the race*
The annual UF Habitat 5k is designed to help raise money and promote awareness for the efforts by Habitat for Humanity and for affordable housing in Alachua County. We encourage all club members, their friends, members of their family and any UF student to sign up and run for a great cause.
The race will be virtual this year, due to Covid-19 restrictions. Racers can run anytime they'd like on the weekend of November 21st, 2020 between Friday November 20th and Sunday November 22nd.
The funds raised during the race will be used for critical home repair projects for deserving families in Alachua County, books and school supplies for children moving into Habitat homes, as well as our current Habitat home built solely by UF students.
Virtual racers will receive the new University of Florida Campus Chapter of Habitat for Humanity club t-shirt as a part of their race registration fee. There will also be a raffle (one ticket will be included with each registration), information will be found on our Facebook page, in which racers can buy tickets and win prizes. Please message your race time (screenshot of any running app) and a photo of you after the run to our Facebook page so we can determine winners.
Looking forward to a great race this year!
