BRCAStrong's 5th Annual 5k

Waves of Hope 

BRCAStrong is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals—men and women—affected by breast cancer and women affected by gynecological cancers, regardless of hereditary predisposition. We provide financial assistance for routine monitoring, preventative surgery, and essential care for Previvors, Survivors, and Thrivers, promoting health, positive self-image, and inspired living.

Over the past 10 years, BRCAStrong has evolved into a sisterhood of Previvors, Survivors, and Thrivers, offering education, information, support, and advocacy. Our support extends to those who are underinsured or uninsured, providing education, advocacy, and care packages at no cost. These include pre-mastectomy and gynecological care packages, post-mastectomy garments, and other treatment necessities—all provided free of charge to participants.

Join us on Saturday, January 10th, at the Hollywood Beach Theater and Plaza for the 5th Annual Waves of Hope 5K! This is a chip-timed 5K run/walk with awards for the top 3 overall and by age group. We encourage all participants to dress in pink or teal to show their support.

Together, we can make a meaningful difference for everyone impacted by breast and gynecological cancers!

Race Timing & Event Management

Race timing & event management will be provided by Limitless Event Solutions. 

All participants will receive an individual results page complete with your results, pace breakdown, finisher certificate & a 20 second video of you crossing the start/finish line.
