Seize The Day 5K

5K run/walk to benefit the local Coastal Boxer Rescue.  The run/walk is in memory of local Satellite Beach resident, George Elliott.  Mr.George Elliott who passed away on Dec 3rd 2014. George was a larger than life character who left a huge impression on all those who met him. George was a huge dog lover and in searching for a local beneficiary we chose the Coastal Boxer Rescue due to their great work locally in providing care for boxers. CBR is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to rescuing abused, abandoned and neglected boxers and securing them forever homes. In combination with other Florida boxer rescue groups, over 400 boxers are rescued and are provided loving homes annually. Coastal Boxer Rescue cares for more than 100 boxers each year.

The 5k run course begins and ends at Gleason Park.

This event is open to runners, walkers and of course our beloved dogs.

EARLY PACKET PICKUP:  Friday, January 8th from 4:30-6:30 PM at CrossFit Rise Above, 1054 Cypress Avenue, Melbourne.

DAY OF REGISTRATION and PACKET PICKUP:  6:00 - 7:00 AM
