What if you could CRUSH your PR and human trafficking at the same time? We’re giving you a chance to do just that.
Join us for a one-of-a-kind event on Saturday, September 9th, 2023 at Toon Town Jacksonville, as we host the very first Live Pure CRUSH 5k.
This is your opportunity to raise money to fight human trafficking, while experiencing the impact of elite running nutrition. Think of this event as part training, part race and full opportunity to CRUSH your personal 5k record.
We’ll kick off the morning with short, powerful nutrition coaching while we hand out pre-race fuel from Live Pure.
Once the gun goes off, you’ll experience elite hydration stations and cross the finish line to enjoy next level recovery.
After the race, we'll hear from our partner Love Justice International and learn about real ways our community can fight back against human trafficking and child sex slavery. Think of this event as a chance for #duuuval to take collective action.

Donations
Fundraise to #CrushTrafficking
If 134 people give $150, we can reach our $20,000 goal, and help intercept more than 133 people to keep them free from trafficking. Saving someone from a life of slavery costs $150. That's it. That's what Love Justice International (LJI) spends on average to intercept a vulnerable person in the process of being trafficked.
We made the registration for the Pure Crush 5km free so that your hard earned money could go to LJI. We'll be rewarding the people (or teams) who raise the most to make an impact!

The PURE CRUSH 5k is your opportunity to personally test drive elite running fuel.
We’ll kick off the morning with a short, powerful training session hosted by coach Paul McRae at 8:30 am, while we hand out pre-race fuel.
Once the gun goes off, you’ll experience elite hydration stations and cross the finish line to enjoy next level recovery.

Race Awards
The Pure Crush 5k is your chance to demo elite nutrition and crush your 5k personal record. It’s also one of Jacksonville’s best races to win big at the finish line. The following awards are up for grabs. Additional age group winner prizes will be announced closer to the race.
Bonus: We’ll be crowing the Crush King & Crush Queen for the runners who crush their recorded P.R. by the most seconds. Each will win the Live Pure GPS Kit ($284 Value) NOTE: Original PR must be recorded time at a previous race.

The run starts and finishes at the ultra cool Toon Town Jax located at 1726 Church St, Jacksonville, FL 32202.
There will be Pure hydration stations on the course, recovery drinks at the finish line and of course BEER TICKETS.

Event Schedule
DAY OF RACE EVENT SCHEDULE
90 minutes to 15 minutes prior to the start of the race - Packet, Bib, & Chip Pickup
90 minutes to 30 minutes prior to the start of the race - Day of Race Registration
30 minutes before start, elite nutrition coaching and pre-race fuel sampling - at Toon Town
20 minutes to 30 minutes after the last finisher - Awards Ceremony

Chip Timing
The race will be chip timed using a bib chip system. Bibs will be distributed at the packet pickup. All runners must cross the mat at the finish line with their chip properly attached to their bodies to score in the race.
