In 2015 the Quadrant Runtoberfest brought Jacksonville the most prize money of any 5k run in North Florida. This year promises to bring more excitement and giveaways to the highest 5k payout race in NE Florida.

Participation Requirements:

To participate in the Elite Race, participants must meet the following qualifying times in 2017:

Men - 20:00 or under for a 5km road race.

Women - 24:00 or under for a 5km road race.

The top 15 men and top 15 women will receive a pint glass with the name of the race on it.

Placements for awards, cash, and advancement are based on gun time.   Cash prizes and awards must be claimed at the awards ceremony.   Winners of cash prizes must have completed all college eligibiilty and will be required to provide the social security number and complete a W-9 form.

Random cash denominations of $20, $50, or $100 totaling $1,000 will be distributed.    Be on the lookout, because you never know where and when the chance to win some money may be.

In addition to cash prizes we will also be offering, drink tickets, gift cards, and other amazing giveaways.

Age Group Finishers (Top 3 Finishers 5 Year Age Groups 0-12, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-Plus) Male and Female.

Runners will only receive one award: overall, masters, or an age group award. Pacing:

That's no mistake, there will be pace groups in the open 5k to help anyone reach that goal they have been shooting for. This is a great way to qualify for one of the corrals at the Gate River Run.   Pacers will be provided to pace groups to Gate River Run 5k seed time intervals.  To join a pace group just meet at the start line 10 minutes prior to the start to find your leader.

Jacksonville, FL US 32205) - See map below) start at 3:00pm up to 5:00pm.   There is no advanced packet pickup available, just day of race.

Elite Race Registration Fees

The following race registration fees include all online processing fees through 2:50pm on October 20, 2017.

First 30 People (Registrations 1 to 30) - $17.50

Next 45 People (Registrations 31 to 75) - $22.50

Everyone after 75 total registrations through 2:55pm on October 20, 2017 - $27.50

Day of Race Registration - $35.00 - Cash or Check Only from 3:00pm to 5:00pm

Quadrant 5k Runtoberfest Course - Elite & Open Races - USTAF Certified

The run starts and finishes at European Street in Riverside, 2753 Park Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32205.   There will be water stations on the course and at the finish line.  The CERTIFIED 5k course features a shaded two loop route around Willow Branch Park with some gradual elevation changes for a fast yet challenging course.

The Runtoberfest runs were started in 2013 by David Scott and Run4Beer as a fundraiser for Challenged Athletes Foundation.   The race has continued to grow and 2017 promises to be bigger and better than ever with the largest prize money in any 5k even in Northeast Florida during the fall running season.

The race will be chip timed using a timing chip attached to your race bib.   All runners must cross the mat at the finish line with their chip properly attached to their bib on the front of their shirt or pants to score in the race.  Bibs that are folded or not clearly visible may result in an invalid time.
