Description
This summer stay in shape and in touch with running through a fun new series at Unity Plaza, 220 Riverside Avenue. Starting in May there will be one Thursday Night race on the third Thursday of each month, each a different distance, and each a different experience. There will special bonuses and post race happenings each race for all participants as listed in more detail below.
You may register for each one invdividually or all three at a discounted rate.
Race #1 - 5/21/15 - 2 Mile
Course:

Post Race:
The first 50 combined registrants for the first race or all three will receive a free meal after the race (up to an $8.00 value).
On The Fly Food Truck will be on site with food for purchase. http://www.ontheflyjax.com
All participants will receive one free beer or soft drink
Water will be provided at the finish line for all participants.
Sweat Towels:
All finishers will receive a custom sweat towel at the finish line.
Race #2 - 6/18/15 - 3 KM

A Food Truck (TBA) will be on site with food for purchase.
All participants will receive one free beer or soft drink
Water will be provided at the finish line for all participants.
Sweat Towels:

Race #3 - 7/16/15 - 1 Mile

Awards:
Custom Racing Hats will be presented after the race to award winners based on times in all three races combined.

Race Awards
OVERALL AWARDS
Custom Racing Hats will be presented to all participants completing all three runs in the series. The hats will be distributed after the third race and particpants must be present to claim their hat.

RACE START TIMES
All races start at 6:30pm
Packet Pickup
DAY OF RACE PACKET PICKUP
Participants will pick up their race bib and timing chip at the race from 90 minutes prior to the race to 15 minutes prior to the race.

Parking is available in the Fresh Market and Corner Bakery parking lots also Unity Plaza garage parking.

Chip Timing
The race will be chip timed using a shoe chip system. Chips will be distributed at the packet pickup. All runners must cross the mat at the finish line with their chip properly attached to their shoe to score in the race. Chips must be returned at the conclusion of the race at the finish line. Runners not returning chips will be charged a fee of $30.
Race Information
Race times and dates are subject to change without notice at any time for any reason. In the event the race time or date is changed or if the race is cancelled, for any reason, there will not be any refunds under any circumstances. In the event of bad weather every effort will be made to conduct the race, however it may be moved to an alernate date, time, or cancelled within hours of the starting time. Please be sure to check the PRS Race Timing website and Facebook page for updates prior to departing to the race for any last minute changes or instructions.
