Please join the Snyder Family Cleft & Craniofacial Center September 10, 2022 at the Ed Austin Regional Park, 11751 McCormick Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32225 for the first ever “Walk a mile for a smile" patient and family event.

Snyder Family Cleft & Craniofacial Center
The Snyder Family Cleft & Craniofacial Center is a nonprofit community based team of experts providing care for a full spectrum of cleft and craniofacial disorders. We understand the unique needs and significant impact a cleft and craniofacial diagnosis can have on your child. We provide care to children from South Georgia, to Tallahassee through the Daytona area.

Walk begins 0930-1130
You must register for this event to receive a shirt and check in packet.
Please plan to stay and enjoy a family –team picnic lunch following the walk. Those planning to attend are encouraged to bring their own chairs/ blankets and food or the food truck would be available to purchase lunch.
Course Details
We will plan to park in the parking lot marked with a blue”P” this is the Disc Golf parking lot. It is close to the restrooms and the playground. The red “S” is where we plan to start and the red “E” where we plan to end the walk. The blue line is the general walk path.
There will be a water station set up where the red “W” is marked midway on your walk.
Please be on time 0900- walk starts at 0930. You will pick up your shirt at the start and at the end we will hand out the medals to the children and everyone will receive a certificate.

About Ed Austin Regional Park
The City of Jacksonville purchased this 144-acre site in 1994, and was formerly the Dunes Golf course. Among the amenities at this large, Arlington-area park is the City`s top disc golf course. Also known as the "Fore Palms Disc Golf Club," this 18-hole layout includes open and tree-lined fairways through the park on a course carefully designed to challenge all levels of players. Tournaments and weekly events are available for more advanced players, while beginners of all ages can learn the game and the techniques from advanced players and disc-golf professionals who frequent the course. The park also includes lighted baseball fields, soccer fields, walking trail, a community center operated by the Police Athletic League, playground equipment, picnic areas and a dog park. Formerly known as District II Regional Park, it was renamed in May 2005 in honor of former Jacksonville Mayor Ed Austin.
