The 8th Annual POST 5K Run/Walk will be held Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 7:30 a.m. Your participation will help us continue to help local children and their families courageously fight cancer by giving them compassionate emotional and financial support. Proceeds from this event benefit POST. POST is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization. Our incredible programs have ensured that for 24 years no local family has had to walk their child’s cancer journey alone.
Why start a team? Starting a team is not only fun, but is an instrumental part of the success of the STRONGER Than Cancer 5K fundraising goals. We need your help! We are asking you to share this fundraising opportunity with your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors. Many people want to help, they just need to know how!
To create your team, go to the menu at the top of the race home page and click on "Donate". From the drop down menu, select "Become a fundraiser". Scroll down the page to "Team Fundraiser" and click the toggle button to YES under "Create a Team Fundraiser". Here you can create your team name, team fundraising goal, and add a personal message for your team. After you have completed these steps, at the very bottom click on the gold "Set Up Fundraiser" button. You did it! Your team is ready to go!
After your Team has been created, you can invite your team members to sign up under your team name in the same location. Team members can go to the menu at the top of the race home page and click on "Donate". From the drop down menu, select "Become a fundraiser". Scroll down the page to "Team Fundraiser". Your team name will be found in the drop down menu under "Join a Team Fundraiser".
Are you joining a team to run the race and raise funds to help meet the team fundraising goal? Your team captain can share a team link with you to register your run under the team name. If you do not have the link, click on "Donate" then click on "Become a Fundraiser". Scroll down to the section called "Team Fundraiser". There is a search bar available to search for your team here.
Medals and T-shirts are guaranteed only for the first 500 registered participants! Awards will be given for male and female 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each age category: Under 15, Age 15 - 19, Age 20-29, Age 30-39, Age 40-49, Age 50-59, Age 60-69, 70 and over.
