2026 Run for Paradise 5k

Event Overview
The Run for Paradise 5K is a fun run with no chip timing, designed to be scenic, welcoming and celebratory. All proceeds directly support local youth athletics and help grow future track and field athletes in our community.

Course Details
The run will start at Higgs Beach, head down the path toward Smathers Beach (with iconic ocean views), and finish on the White Street Pier.

 
Packet Pickup
Friday, January 2: 3:00–5:00 PM at Higgs Beach
Saturday, January 3: 6:45–7:45 AM at Higgs Beach
Participants who registered by December 15 will receive an event shirt at packet pickup.

 
Parking Information (Important)
Please note that parking directly at Higgs Beach will be limited and partially blocked due to event setup and operations near Salute.

We recommend:

• Parking in public parking lots
• Parking at the park across the street

Allowing extra time to walk to the start area

We encourage you to stick around and enjoy the day:

• Watch local and elite athletes compete in Pole Vault in Paradise
• Bid on items in our silent auction
• Support the incredible athletes who make this event special
• Your participation helps continue to grow track and field opportunities for young athletes in the Lower Keys. Thank you for being part of this weekend and for supporting the future of our sport and community.
