Description
In support of the Surfrider Foundation of the Florida Keys, our nonprofit organization She's Venturing, Inc. will be hosting a 50-mile Virtual Walk Challenge for the month of August! You'll get a great tee or tank to show your support, and you'll be able to track your progress for the month through RunSignup. We'll be giving shoutouts and a prize at month's end for all those that participate and hit the 50-mile goal!
Help us save our oceans by supporting and joining us this month! All profits from the event and sale will be donated to Surfrider Foundation Florida Keys Chapter!
Surfrider Foundation Mission Statement
Nationally, the Surfrider Foundation is a community of everyday people who passionately protect our playground – the ocean, waves, and beaches -that provide us so much enjoyment.
Chartered in August of 2018, the Florida Keys chapter of the Surfrider Foundation seeks to foster a sense of stewardship for the unique and fragile ecosystem of the Florida Keys. Through activism, public education and partnerships with local businesses and community members we seek to promote public awareness of how our everyday choices have a meaningful impact on the beaches, oceans and wetlands we all rely on.
