VIRTUAL RACE ENTRIES
$45.00 for VIRTUAL REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS - August 10th 2023 through January 27th 20024 - SWAG Packages will be mailed USPS to USA entries. INTERNATIONAL ENTRIES will be invoiced following the race with the shipping cost for your countries customs. If invoice is not paid within 10 days of invoice your ENTRY will be FORFEITED as a donation to the charity race.

Participant Give-A-ways:
Participants that register before January 20th 2024 will be guaranteed shirt in the size selected when registering.
If you registered after January 20th 2024 11:59pm we cannot guarantee shirt in your SWAG Packet pick up - But on behalf of our sponsors we will mail your shirt through USPS.
Check back following the race at finish-line / registration tables after the race to see if any are remaining to exchange sizes only.

TOP TEAM that raises the most during their fundraising campaign
TOP MALE and TOP FEMALE AWARDS for the 5K
Top 3 male and Top 3 female finishers in the following age groups:
5 and under 6 - 8, 9 - 11, 12 - 14, 15 -19, 20 -24, 25-29, 30-34, 35- 39, 40-45, 50-54, 55- 59, 60-64, 65- 69, 70 & up
BE A TEAM PLAYER:
When you register you will selecting a grade level or special area that you would like to support. Following the race the grade levels and special area depts. will be awarded a portion of the sponsorship donations for their grade level or special area.
Choices will be:
Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd Grade 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, 5th Grade, 6th Grade, 7th Grade 8th Grade, Elementary Specials, Middle School Specials, Clubs & Groups and a WILD CARD for General Funds donation.
Your part comes in from helping get the word out to sponsors so they can be a part of the race and assist the school with their fundraising efforts.

Course description:
Get ready for an exciting 5K race in "THE GEM" of West Volusia located in beautiful Lake Helen. Home of our HOMETOWN HUSKIES at Ivy Hawn Charter School of the Arts where our road race begins and ends. Our scenic course offers a mix of suburban, city, and park views, with moderate hills through the community of Lake Helen.
The 5K Course starts at Ivy Hawn school parking lot, and merges out onto the roads from Pleasant Street, passing a thriving part of Lake Helen, Blake Park and the Equestrian Center towards East Michigan Avenue. As you follow East Michigan Avenue around, this rode becomes N. Orange Avenue as you pass the lake (Lake Helen) on your left. When you reach Barbe St. you will have completed your FIRST MILE, go left and merge onto Tangerine Avenue towards Lakeview Drive. You will turn left on Lakeview Drive then turn right on Connecticut Avenue. You will go two (2) blocks and turn left on Euclid Avenue. Following N. Euclid Avenue for 5 blocks turning right on West Michigan Avenue after 3 blocks, you will have completed MILE 2. Along this part of the course you will have a couple quick turns as you complete your final mile towards the finish, turning left on South Summit Avenue for two blocks. Turn left on Delaware Avenue W for one block then turn right on South Volusia Avenue for two blocks as it bends to your left onto West Washington Avenue for one block. Turning right on S. High Street follow towards West Ohio Avenue for about 3 blocks then turn right onto South Lakeview Drive and and complete MILE 3, you are almost there. The final stretch towards the finish-line is just a few feet ahead, turning into the school entrance and crossing the finish-line.
