Run Like You Care 10k 5k and Kids Fun Run

The Run Like You Care 10k, 5k and Kids Fun Run is a road race benefiting the hunger program of Lake Wales Care Center. Lake Wales Care Center is a faith-based community service organization which demonstrates Christ's love by building bridges between people in need and people with a desire to serve.

Shirts sizes are guaranteed if pre-registered before March 13, 2026. After this date, the shirts will be available while supplies last.

To avoid long lines on race day, you are encouraged to pick up your packet at Early Race Packet Pickup. Day of Race packet pick-up will also be available Sat morning starting at 7am, but please give yourself plenty of time and be patient with the lines.

Early Packet Pickup:

Friday, April 10, 2026 from 10am-7pm at Kathryn's Christian Book Store
205 E. Park Avenue, Lake Wales, FL 33853
You can have someone pick up your packet for you if you are not able to make it.

Race Day:

Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Shores of Lake Wailes (Close to the Kiwanis Park)
1100 N Lakeshore Blvd., Lake Wales, FL 33853
- 7:00 AM - Race day packet pickup and Race day registration.
- 8:00 AM - 10k race Start
- 8:30 AM - 5k and .75 mile race Start
- 9:00 AM - Kids fun run will start (This race is not timed.)
- 9:30 AM - Approx. time of Awards Ceremony
